Food in Taiping is one of its specialties. The Popiah of Taiping is one of the renowned dishes in around Malaysia where a visit to the town will not be complete without trying it out. Other food that are famous here include the Laksa, the Char Koay Teow and the Pan Mee. You will find that in Taiping, there is bound to be a coffee shop around every corner which you can essentially walk in and order your food. Most of the people here enjoy their coffee and snacks although most of the food here are usually good. You don’t necessarily need to hunt for the best food in Taiping. Check with the locals here and they will be able to direct you around.
